A vibrant school with its own profile requires not only students and teachers, but also the involvement of parents.
(Bernd Busemann, Lower Saxony Minister of Culture 2004)
⇒ It doesn’t work without parents!
We are committed to a lively community at our school. Our goal is to increase the flow of information and to make everyday school life transparent. Opinions are formed and viewpoints developed here. We discuss the concerns of our school in a constructive and critical manner. We receive information first hand and pass it on directly to the parents.
Framework conditions regulate:
When?
The first parent council meeting takes place within the first 9 weeks of the school year. A second meeting takes place in the second half of the school year. Further meetings are possible. The parent council chair chairs the meetings.
Who?
The members of the EB are the class parent representatives and their deputies (currently 26 parent representatives). The Parents' Council elects the Parents' Council Chairman and his deputy from among its members for a one-year term. The EBV is the deputy chairman of the school conference.
